PAUL Lynch has urged his Colne players to perform for their futures at Holt House.

The Reds' joint manager says members of the current squad must prove they want to be a part of his plans next season, when Lynch is determined to win the title.

He admitted they had made a good start in Tuesday night's 2-0 win over promotion chasing Padiham. But encouraged them to keep up the good work tomorrow when they travel to Oldham Town, then on Tuesday at home to Blackpool Mechanics - their final game of the season.

"They played really well against Padiham, completely different to their performance against Leek at the weekend," Lynch said.

"I've told them they need to prove themselves in the remaining games. They responded well in midweek but they have to keep that going until the end of the season."
