LOSING at Burnley leaves a very bad taste in the mouth, let's face it just going there is enough to make anyone ill, but when we contribute to our own downfall, then it's even harder to take.
Dickson Etuhu have been arguably our best player in recent games, playing in the centre of our midfield.
So why on earth was he pushed out wide on the right at Turf Moor?
When he has been forced to play there in the past he has looked very uncomfortable and very ordinary in that position, and Tuesday night was the same.
He never really got into the game and was eventually subbed when Lee Cartwright, a natural in that role took over.
It seems a touch unfair to us that to accommodate the return of Brian O'Neil, Etuhu has to play a role that he looks totally unhappy with.
We are not saying that O'Neil shouldn't be in the team, of course he should, but the boss has to leave Dickson where he plays best, in centre midfield.
We also missed big George up front, as Simon Lynch doesn't really look ready for the rough and tumble of the English first division.
Now then what's next? Ah yes a weekend in Brighton.
