STUDENTS at Manchester Jewish Grammar School got to tackle Ivan Lewis MP and witness Prime Minister's Question Time when they visited the Houses of Parliament recently.
The trip was organised as part of the sixth form's annual visit to London, which began with a lecture by Rabbi Moishe Litke who spoke on the obligations of a Jew.
A group of 36 boys from the Charlton Avenue school in Prestwich attended the lecture then went on to meet Ivan Lewis.
He spoke on the way it was a "travesty of justice" how Israel had been compared to Iraq.
Mr Lewis organised for 32 of the group to get rare passes into Prime Minister's Question Time where they witnessed a packed House of Commons question Tony Blair on the war's progress.
The visit ended with a trip to the Bank of England Museum and the Imperial War Museum.
