TWO members of Accrington Stanley's staff were arrested after the club's promotion celebration ended in violence.
A police investigation has been launched into a fight outside Opium, in Willow Street, Accrington.
Nightclub owner Mick Cookson today said he would ban the troublemakers responsible for the incident.
The players had beaten Altrincham 3-1 in front of 2,263 Crown Ground fans on Saturday afternoon and won promotion to the Nationwide Conference, one step away from the Football League.
Around 30 members of the Stanley's staff, the majority of them players, were placed on the nightclub's guest list as VIPs for a celebration in the evening.
Mr Cookson said: "They were all in tracksuits. We don't allow tracksuits, but as it was Accrington Stanley we let them in as we wanted to support the club."
Manager John Coleman said: "I was there. There was a bit of trouble in the club and all the players I was with left friendly. It wasn't a major incident. It was a little fracas."
Sgt Mark Porter said he was in the early stages of an inquiry and added: "There was a disturbance in the town centre outside Opium on Saturday night and Accrington Stanley players were involved.
"We will be reviewing CCTV footage of the area today."
