DETECTIVES are viewing security camera footage from a Bury supermarket in their efforts to catch a handbag thief.
A dark-haired woman made off with the handbag from Asda's Pilsworth store at 11.20am on Sunday (April 13). The handbag belonged to a 72-year-old woman who had put it on the floor while she selected items from a shelf.
A woman, described as slim, in her early 20s and wearing a white top, was seen leaving the store with the handbag.
