MANCHESTER Dogs' Home is looking for a new home for a lovely dog who has lost her owner and her canine friend.

Jane was admitted to the Manchester Dogs' Home on the December 31, 2002 and so qualifies as a long-stay dog. She came from the Hyde area.

She was admitted to MDH through no fault of her own, she is a lovely dog, but her owner died and she needed someone to look after her and her canine companion, Prince. Prince was either her son or her brother but he was rehomed and Jane was left.

Jane is a black/sable/tan medium-sized cross breed, approx. 8-10 years old. She is well behaved and will sit and give you her paw as well as obey basic commands.

We feel that Jane would be suited to a more mature family as she would not require long walks or excessive exercise.

She gets on well with other dogs and is friendly and affectionate. She has been microchipped but has not been neutered.

Anyone wishing to offer Jane a Home should contact the Manchester Dogs' Home, Crofter's House, Moss Brook Road, Harpurhey, Manchester M9 5PG. Tel. 0161 205 2874.
