ARSONISTS left a trail of destruction after starting a spate of car fires in Bury on Sunday evening (April 13).
The most serious incident happened at 10.20pm at the Lex Land Rover car dealership in Bell Lane when firebugs forced their way into a rear compound and attacked two cars and vandalised a third.
The interior of a Range Rover was badly damaged by fire while a Vauxhall Vectra had a burning petrol can left on the back seat. A Ford Fusion was also broken into.
A Ford Escort parked in Pine Street and a VW Sirocco parked in nearby James Street were also destroyed by fire on the same night.
Firefighters believe all the arson attacks were carried out by the same person or gang.
Police would like to hear from anyone with information to contact Bury CID on 0161 856 8150.
