THREE teenage boys were targeted in separate street robberies.
The first incident happened at 8.30pm on Thursday (April 10) when a 15-year-old boy was confronted by three 17-year-olds in Heywood Road, Simister. They threatened to hit the boy who was forced to hand over a mobile phone worth £80. The trio all wore dark hooded jackets and the made off on bicycles.
At 10.30am on Friday (April 11), a 16-year-old fought back when he was punched in the face by one of two thugs who took his mobile phone.
The robbery happened in Bury Old Road, Whitefield. The first attacker was Asian, 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build. His accomplice was Afro-Caribbean, 6ft tall and slim. Both wore black-hooded tracksuits and scarfs covering their faces.
The third incident happened in Haslam Brow, Bury, on Saturday night (April 12).
A 15-year-old suffered bruising and swelling when he was punched and kicked in the face by two thugs who escaped with a small amount of cash.
