HAPTON community beat manager PC Tony Himycz is giving residents the chance to quiz him about policing in the area during his first two advice surgeries.
Older members of the community will be able to question him first when he drops in on their coffee morning on Thursday, April 24, at the Methodist Church Hall, in Whitefield Street, Hapton.
PC Himycz will be at the hall from 9am to noon, to offer crime prevention advice and answer general policing queries.
It will be the first of what is hoped will become monthly visits. He will be available to all local residents between 7pm and 9pm on Monday, April 28, at the hall. PC Himycz said: "I am looking forward to meeting more of the people who live and work on my beat at the first two surgeries.
"I hope that they will look upon these surgeries as a good opportunity to get to know me and share their concerns."
