REGARDING your article (LET, April 5) on the Padiham soldier's mother wanting to have the flag flown on the town hall for our troops in Iraq.
Out here people fly the flag to support anything that is Australian.
Here, you can walk down the street and see Aussie flags being flow in people's front gardens as well as from government or council buildings.
I feel that Britain is becoming more concerned about upsetting the ethnic community than caring about her own. I hope the Padiham mum gets the flag flown.
