BACUP Borough boss Brent Peters has promised to stage 'the party of all parties' after his club secured promotion to the North West Counties First Division last night.
Padiham's 2-1 home defeat against Castleton Gabriels means that Borough are now guaranteed promotion.
But Peters and his players plan to postpone their celebrations until after Monday night's championship decider with Stone Dominoes.
"I can't explain how chuffed I am," said Peters.
"The pressure has been horrendous during the last few weeks and I've tried everything in my power to keep that away from the lads.
"But now we have got there and we want to go up as champions as well.
"If we beat Stone on Monday then I think we'll do it and then you'll see the party of all parties."
Peters was not at the Arbories in person last night but he kept his players up to speed with developments through the evening.
"I was sat at home on the edge of my seat listening to the radio for regular updates," said the Borough boss.
"I texted my players at half-time to let them know it was 1-1 and then again on the final whistle to say we'd made it."
