YOUNGSTERS AT Burnley's Barden Junior School have been kitted out with a brand new football team strip thanks to a school governor and a landlord.
Mrs Nasim Bhatti, who is on the board of governors for Barden Juniors and Infants and is chairman of the PTA, approached the landlord of her Throstle Close home to sponsor the kit.
Shipley-based B&N then stumped up the cash to pay for the new team kit.
Joanne Sawley from the company said: "We were delighted to be able to make this possible. We work very hard to be relevant in our communities and our work in Daneshouse is just one example of this."
Headteacher Simon Smalley said: "We are very grateful to B&N for their support. We are dedicated to the welfare of our children and governors give their time generously to raise funds for the school."
