LANCASTER University creative writing Tutor George Green headlines at this month's 'Spotlight' in Lancaster at the weekend.
A funny writer with an eye for the ridiculous in behaviour, he has recently had his first novel accepted for publication and is already working on a follow-up.
Spotlight co-ordinator Sarah Fiske will be making a rare appearance herself with a monologue entitled 'Titus And Figglebaum' in which a drop-out student cynically recalls tales of drugs, sex and deceit.
Two poets complete the literary line-up - John Hall travels down from Barrow-In-Furness with his wry and caustic poems while Steve from Preston makes a welcome return with his pithy and lugubrious takes on love found, love lost and love left behind.
This night of art, Literature and memorable music will be in the uninhibited surroundings of The Yorkshire House tomorrow (Friday) at 8.30pm. Open Mike 8.45 - 9.15pm.
