POLICE have renewed their appeal for information after a 12-year-old boy was injured in a road accident in Burnley in which the driver failed to stop.
Geoffrey Kerr was on his way to Habergham High School on Friday, at 9.15am, when hewas in an accident with a silver 4x4 Jeep-style vehicle.
A police spokesman said: "We think it was a female driver with possibly two or three children in the back.
"We are not convinced that the driver knows she was in collision with the boy but we need her to come forward.
"We have not had any further details since we originally asked for information from the public earlier this week."
The teenager suffered a bruised arm in the accident.
