COLNE people will be able to add their own ingredients to a recipe book being created to offer a taste of the town.
The idea for the recipe book follows a food survey in the town, held from January to March this year, to discover people's eating habits.
The project, called Food in Pendle, involved local people being trained in consultation techniques.
Helen Blyth, who is putting the book together, said: "We would like to find out some of Colne's favourite recipes and ideas for feeding a family. We are especially interested to learn of things that are quick, easy and economical. We are also keen to find out what makes these recipes and ideas special.
"We are collecting recipes and ideas over the coming weeks. If you have some that you would like to be included, you can send them to Food in Pendle, c/o The Waterbridge Resource Centre, Rigby Street, Colne, BB8 9NA.
"Alternatively, recipes can be dropped off at the Open Door Centre or Colne Town Hall. Don't forget to include why the recipe is special to you."
The closing date for entries will be Friday, May 9.
Copies of the recipe book will be made available to participants free.
