SHE'S the mouse with no name -- and she's looking for a home.
In reality the tiny chocolate-coloured mouse may be called Rose or Betty but, as she is one of a batch of 22 siblings, it's quite difficult for her carers to distinguish which mouse she is.
A host of squeaking objects was found in December at Preston Docklands and brought to the RSPCA shelter at Holker House Farm, Altham.
Manager Jeanette Ainscough, said: "The other animal homes in the area didn't have the facilities or the space for them, so it was up to us to help out.
"Some of the mice found in Preston were pregnant, so little Betty/Rose was actually born here and is only about four months old.
"They're very easy to look after. The only thing is, you've got to watch they don't get fat by over-feeding them."
To give the mouse with no name a new home, call (01254) 231118 or visit the shelter on Whinny Hill Road between 11am and 4pm any day except Thursday.
Our readers came up trumps for Buster the dog who featured in Animal Aid last week. He moved in with his new owners on Tuesday.
