FED-UP residents on a Darwen street are appealing to council bosses to help them tackle youth problems in the area.
A petition containing 17 signatures has been handed to Blackburn with Darwen Council and will be brought before the planning and highways committee on Thursday.
Residents of Levens Grove want a footpath which runs to Birch Hall Avenue to be closed to shop youths from congregating on their street.
They also want grass verges, which they say are in a poor condition, to be removed and turned into parking bays for residents.
And they have also requested that footpaths on the street are repaired because they are in a 'dangerous condition.'
A report which to the committee says a full investigation has been launched into the complaints.
