PROPOSALS to build eight two-bedroom flats in Darwen are to go before a planning committee after a neighbour raised objections.
The plans for two blocks, each two-stories high, to be built on former tennis courts on Earnsdale Road, will be discussed by councillors next Thursday.
Applicants Hampshire Associates Ltd have included eight parking spaces in the plans.
One residents wrote to councillors suggesting the plan could lead to neighbourhood disputes. The letter stated: "I feel that eight small flats on such a small piece of land could lead to arguments over parking, noise and privacy of the fellow occupants of the other flats maybe leading to public order problems."
The plans will be discussed at a Blackburn with Darwen planning committee meeting at Blackburn Town Hall on Thursday at 6pm.
