THERE'S a double bill of comedy next week when Blackburn Arts Club puts on its latest production.
Appropriately enough, the two one-act comedies The Last Bread Pudding and Melons at the Parsonage both revolve around the world of amateur dramatics.
Written by Nick Warburton, the first is about a committee meeting discussing what their next production should be and the second, is set at an awards ceremony with rival theatre groups vying for the top prize. This double bill is a change in the Arts Club's original schedule and will run at the club theatre on Gibraltar Street, Blackburn, from Tuesday, April 29 until Saturday, May 3 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £5 with concessions available for the Tuesday and Wednesday performances. For details contact 01254 52024 or 01254 52910.
