VILLAGERS are hoping their scarecrows will attract visitors when Waddington hosts its annual spring fair weekend next month.
The event begins on Saturday, May 3, and scarecrows should be standing by noon on Saturday.
Anyone wishing to take part should register their scarecrow with Helen Chew on 01200 443356 before May 2.
The Scarecrow Shuffle will be held in a tent on The Croft. There will be a hot pot supper, live band and disco.
A car boot and table top sale will be held on Sunday, May 4. from 10am-1pm on The Croft
Jazz on The Croft will be performed by the Pendle Jazz Men on Sunday, May 4 at 3pm.
The spring fair will be held on Monday, May 5 on The Croft. The scarecrows should remain on display until Saturday, May 10.
