BURNLEY'S Sustainability Action Partnership has unveiled a programme of special days for volunteers every Thursday until Christmas.
The group, which is based in Yorkshire Street, Burnley, is holding the volunteer action days from May 1.
The days will involve practical volunteering, trips to places and projects in the North West and training through workshops.
Kim Coverdale, project worker, said: "We welcome all new volunteers and if you are interested in working with us, come along on a regular basis or to any session which suits you."
The first session on May 1 will involve building a pathway around the garden at Barden School.
May 8 will see the group help build a bridleway in the Forest of Burnley while May 15 involves building an otter holt in a nature reserve.
Kim said: "We usually provide transport to sites thanks to Burnley Council's minibus and we provide training on site for the practical work involved.
