COMMUNITIES across the district still have a chance to have their say on proposals to extend the Lune Millennium Path.
The issue has attracted widespread interest at five meetings held so far - in Lancaster, Caton, Claughton, Hornby and Wray - and consultants Bowles Green Limited are now planning further talks with local residents and landowners.
Possible alternative routes between Bull Beck and Claughton will be discussed at a meeting in Claughton on May 6.
County Cllr Tim Ormrod says: "I welcome the strong interest in this project from people in the Lune Valley and Lancaster. It's very important that people affected are given the chance to share their views - they are in the best position to offer advice and can play an important role in shaping the future."
In May, meetings will also be held in Wray and Hornby for residents and special interest groups.
