DRIVERS are being warned to stay away from Burnley Football Club's Turf Moor ground tomorrow.
Traffic police are asking motorists who are not going to see the Clarets game against Sheffield Wednesday to help them keep roads clear.
The game kicks off at 1.30pm and a bumper crowd is expected to turn up to see Burnley striker Andy Payton's final game in the Football League.
A spokesman for the police's Pennine road safety office said: "We are asking for the co-operation of non-football drivers.
"If they can avoid the football ground, and in particular Belvedere Road, Todmorden Road, Yorkshire Street and Church Street from 3.15pm to 4pm they could be doing themselves a big favour.
"They will save themselves a lot of grief and assist us in getting everyone away from the ground."
