I AM one of the many people who have been caught speeding (37mph in a 30mph zone) by a policeman, sitting for a large part of the day in the back of a van.
I held my hand up and paid my fine of £60 and suffered three penalty points.
Then, a couple of weeks later, my car, along with several others, was broken into on a hotel car park and suffered more than a £1,000-worth of damage.
On contacting the police, I was given a crime number and told they had no resourses to do anything else about my car and that I should claim off my insurance.
This is Labour clamping down on crime! I suggest to anyone else who has been burgled or mugged not to count on the police, just ring your insurance and let the police get on with their real work -- picking on crimes that help Labour fund the police by the back door.
I am one of the many who are beginning to see through Labour and will give my vote to a party that will fight real crime.
