JJB supremo Dave Whelan and his family were among the biggest financial losers over the last 12 months, according to a new rich list.
The former Blackburn Rovers player watched his family's fortune shrink by £273million to £194million, the 13th biggest fall recorded in the annual survey.
The dip is blamed on a fall in his share values.
The Duke of Westminster, whose estate covers much of Lancashire, was one of the year's biggest winners. His fortune rose £200million to £4,900 million, making him the richest person in the UK.
Rossendale property tycoon John Whittaker, who owns Peel Holdings saw his personal wealth rise from £475million to £583million, which took him from 63 to 47 on the Sunday Times Rich List.
In contrast, the Walker family also saw their fortune fall -- by £150million -- and they fell from 26th to 34th. The loss is blamed on the value of shares falling and poor performance by aviation firm, Flybe, which the family are involved with.
And Chorley-based property and leisure magnate Trevor Hemmings fell down the list from 55 to 64 with a fortune down from £518million to £480million.
DIY and property boss Bill Archer, who has shares in the Focus Wicks DIY chain, went from 111 to 151 after seeing his money drop from £300million to £223million.
Clitheroe-based John Lancaster and family, in charge of Ultraframe, saw a drop from £133million to £95million.
