GLEN Little has played down talk that he would be interested in a permanent move to Reading.
The wing wizard, who went on loan to the Madjeski Stadium until the end of the season on transfer deadline day, helped Reading secure a play-off place with his second minute goal - the fastest goal recorded on Saturday.
But after the 2-1 win over Grimsby, he returned to Turf Moor last night for the players' end of season awards and dispelled rumours that he wanted to quit Burnley.
"As far as I know, the intention for me is to come back to Burnley at the end of the season," he said.
"I understand there will be a few changes here but I haven't even really spoken to the gaffer since I've been at Reading. Last night was the first time I've seen the gaffer and he hasn't mentioned anything.
"I'm under contract with Burnley and I've always been happy here.
"I haven't heard anything or spoken to anyone about it, I've just been getting on with the games with Reading, playing and training.
"But, at the end of the day it's not up to me, I suppose it will be sorted out in the summer. I'm just looking forward to the play-offs and finishing the season off."
Little added that his priority was to enjoy his play-off experience and try to lead Reading into the Premiership.
"We've got two games left now and once you get into the big matches then you try to make the final," he said.
"And I think I probably deserve a shot at it the way the last couple of seasons have gone here at Burnley. We've been a bit unlucky here in both seasons.
"Now I'm finally going to get a chance to see what all the fuss is about."
And he stressed he was not aware of any plans to set up a summer transfer.
"No one has spoken to me about anything at the Reading side of things," he said. "As far as I'm concerned I'm getting on with my job, just trying to play as well as I can and look forward to the play-offs.
"I'm sure once the season has finished, then people will decide what happens and I'll know more and get informed of what's going to happen."
He continued: "It has felt a little strange when I'm in the dressing room and putting the kit on but they're a good set of lads at Reading, I've settled in well and I think they've taken to me.
"I'm just trying to help them get to where they want to be.
"We always said at Burnley that once you get into the play-offs, anything could happen. That's what we'll be expecting at Reading.
"I don't think there'll be any pressure on us. It will be my first shot at the play-offs and I'm looking forward to it."
