FOUR people were injured in a two vehicle town centre smash which forced the closure of a busy road.
A BMW car was in a collision with a van in Penny Street, Blackburn and the van was thrown into the air by the impact landing on a parked white Ford Focus.
Two pedestrians were injured as the van knocked them into the car park, the driver of the van escaped unhurt.
Fire crews from Blackburn and Accrington, police and paramedics were called to the scene.
All the casualties were taken by paramedics to Blackburn Royal Infirmary with non-life threatening injuries.
