DARWEN'S Petticoat Lane charity market is on May 26 in Bridge Street and organisers are in talks with the street's traders.
The market involves major charities such as Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation.
Bill Lee, Darwen Rotary member and event organiser, said: "Petticoat Lane is open to charities and other organisations raising money for worthy causes."
The market has run for 15 years but saw a boom two years ago when the event ran alongside Darwen Music Live.
Mr Lee said: "A lot more people are in the town centre when Music Live is on. It's a fantastic day for charities. They can make up to £400 on a good day."
The event will also feature entertainment and rides for children.
