MORE than 800 men are to be DNA tested as part of the police inquiry into murdered schoolboy Imraan Vohra.
Imraan's body was found in Avenham Park, Preston, on July 13 1985, but nobody was ever convicted of the crime.
Now six retired detectives will be working with the investigating team to help with the new DNA screening.
It is thought the tests will take about three months.
Detective Superintendent Mick Turner said: "What people should remember is that the screening process is entirely voluntary and that the swabs taken will only be used for this investigation and once tested will be destroyed."
Anyone with information on the crime should call the incident room on 01772 209209 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
