A LANCASHIRE nurse will face misconduct allegations at a three-day hearing of the Nursing and Midwifery Council's Professional Conduct Committee beginning on June 30.
Mrs Susan Mary Cheshire, 41, from Blackburn, will face six charges including failing to attend to residents when they had been incontinent, failing to examine residents and falsely signing documents saying she had worked together with a care assistant.
The allegations relate to her work as a registered general nurse at the White Ash Brook Nursing and Residential Home in Oswaldtwistle, between November 1999 and January 2001.
The committee, sitting in central London, will decide whether the allegations, if proven, amount to professional misconduct, for which the nurse could be struck off the professional register.
