LEIGH Ospreys Junior Angling Club enjoyed two Easter fixtures at Partridge Fisheries thanks to owner David Ikin.
The first match, on the Pine Canal, was won by new member Joe Grainey who netted 29-0-0. In second place was Michael McGrath with 27-12-0 and third Mark Arnold with 21-8-0. In joint fourth were Rachel Leyland and Daniel Burley with 17-8-0.
Nine years old Luke McGarth did well in his first contest, landing 16-8-0.
The second match, fished on the ribbon, proved a tough venue. The winner was Alex Jones with 14-10-0. In second place was Martin Keaveney with 11-6-0, third was Mathew Madeley with 7-3-0 and fourth David Clarkson with 6-6-0. Rachel Leyland finished second in the juniors with 5-10-0.
