NEWCHURCH WI are banking on bottle gifts to run a stall at Culcheth Community Day on May 5.
A coffee morning to promote fair trade in the developing world netted £88.33 for the institute.

The competition for a walking stick was won by T MacDonald with runners-up B Pinkney and K Hanley.
Outings organiser Mrs I Bromilow reminded members of planned theatre outings and a visit to Ness Gardens in June.
The next meeting is on May 14 in the Parish Hall when the talk is on "Sugar and Spice". Everyone is welcome.
