PADIHAM and Clitheroe are neck-and-neck in the race for the North West Counties League Reserve Division title.
Clitheroe need to beat Curzon Ashton at Shawbridge tonight (kick off 7.45pm) to go a point clear of Padiham. A win or draw would also make Lee Boyer's side unbeaten all season.
If Clitheroe win, Padiham must beat Atherton Collieries at the Arbories on Saturday to clinch the championship. A draw would give Clitheroe the honours on goal difference.
Padiham's first team travel to Ashton Town tomorrow for their final game of the season, while Clitheroe prepare for their Worthington Challenge Trophy final against Mossley at Bury's Gigg Lane on Wednesday night.
