IN order that we may expand and help even more cats, the Blackpool, Wyre & Fylde Branch of Cats Protection is looking for cat lovers with time to spare who can help in a practical way.
Would you be interested in becoming a fosterer?
Fosterers are our life-line and without them one of our main aims -- rescuing and finding new homes for local unwanted and homeless cats and kittens -- just could not be fulfilled. All equipment, food, cat litter and costs are met by the branch.
Could you help at fundraising events or come up with ideas for fundraising, put up posters at vet centres, supermarkets and pet shops in your area?
If you are a car owner, could you help by running cats to and from the vet or collect tins of donated cat food from Cats Protection bins in supermarkets in your area?
Maybe you have a skill we could call upon in times of need. Would you like to become a Committee Member?
If you think you can help in any of these ways -- the depth of involvement is entirely up to you -- please give Barbara a ring on -01253 820295, who will be very happy to discuss things with you.
