KIERON Murphy (Letters, April 22) suggests there is no evidence of an intelligent, designer God. Yet Mr. Murphy's ability to write and reason would be my first of many pieces of evidence.
His intelligence is more massive than anything we've ever been able to design, despite years of computers and technology.
Is it then likely that blind, bumbling, unintelligent nature could stumble by chance and without any aid, on patching together the wonder of Mr. Murphy?
Further, with all his intellect and his ability to love, relate and enjoy the beautiful and spiritual, it seems wrong to write himself off as just a haphazard container of chemicals driven by electricity.
His well-designed letter gives every indication that he is much, much more than a mere machine.
