A RISHTON nature reserve and education centre is looking for the stars of tomorrow to join their fledgling drama and music scheme.
Lords House Farm, in Wilpshire Road, has secured £6,000 of European funding for the Star is Born scheme and need schools and groups to help run it.
The organisers hope to encourage talent by holding workshops and performances in a movable outdoor theatre within the grounds of the reserve.
The reserve, a Site of Specific Scientific Interest protected by English Nature, was created in the former Harper Clough Quarry, better known as Star Delph.
The performing arts scheme is the latest development to be added to the operation that is linked to Accrington and Rossendale College. Those interested in joining the scheme should speak the farm on 01254 877400 and leave contact details.
