THE third Great Harwood beer festival has proved a huge success, with drinkers enjoying a raft of real ales, quality live music and Indian food.
Landlord Peter Booth, of the Royal Hotel, Great Harwood, who ran the festival with his wife, Janice, said he is delighted with how the four-day festival has gone.
Real Ales from across the county and the UK, bottled beers from across Europe and live blues and acoustic music were brought in for the festival.
Peter said: "It's been totally packed throughout. The ales have gone down really well and the music's gone down well, too. We have had lager drinkers drinking real ale, which is always a good sign."
And Peter said it is likely there will be a fourth Great Harwood beer festival next year.
