Parents in Preston were being encouraged to get fit with their youngsters and set a good example.
A Multi sports event held at Deepdale Junior School mums and dads to get sporty and brush up on their skills in football, basketball, rounders and short cricket.
Although the games were competitive with a community coach there to push participants, the day was fun-filled family event highlighting the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
Jendy Bullman, spokesperson for the Primary Care Trust, said: "These multi sports events give people something to do in the school holidays. It gives mums and daughters and lads and dads a chance to get involved in sport at the heart of deepdale."
Over 100 families got involved in the two-day event, which took place over the Easter break. Mums and daughters had a session in the afternoon followed by dads and lads in the evening.
Winners were awarded with bowling vouchers and tennis balls. Sainsbury's and Leisure Guard Security donated the prizes.
The event was a joint venture by Preston Muslim Forum, Spotlight on Sport and Primary Care Trust.
