It's been a season of thrills and spills for the under 10s in the Blackburn and Darwen Boys League.
The matches are played at Witton Park on mini grass pitches where Asian Image Sport was on hand to witness a classic encounter Blackburn United A and Blackburn united B.
Blackburn United A started off as clear favourites but were one goal down within minutes of the kick-off.
United B's Ryan Kirby fired in an unstoppable free-kick from 15 yards out (and if you are ten years old that is a hell of a long way).
United A then piled on the pressure but found goalkeeper Faizal Bhamgee in outstanding form. Junaid Sidat and Arbaz Kabadia who have both netted 42 goals between them this season just couldn't get past a stubborn United B defence.
Manager of United A Salim Sidat told us: "They have vastly improved since their first season and this year have gone from strength to strength."
Salim wished to thank all the backroom staff and volunteers for helping the youngsters this season. That includes, Amjad Khan, Shabbir Shah, Mickey Hoole, David Hoole, Suleman Randera, Javed Feroze and Mohammed Lawaseen (AKA Rocky).
