Blackburn Dynamos were a hugely successful side made up of some of the most talented players the community.
Many of the players had not seen each other for over two decades and the successes of old were discussed long into the night.
Most of the original team turned up bar three. One of whom is now living in Canada.
Manzur Khan popularily known as Manzur and Mohammed Anayat (Lato), organised the reunion. Manny told us, "I put the best players togther from all the teams operating in the area but never imagined they would be as successful as they were."
Lato added, "The emotion we have seen made the evening worthwhile."
Ibrahim Master known as Haf to his team mates said, "These guys played in some atrocious conditions but there was some real passion and dedication behind their success."
You could say Dynamo's were the United of the local Asian football circuit in the late seventies and early eighties in that opposition just couldn't wait for them to be beaten.
Farooq Dalal said, "Every game we played was like a cup final for the opposition. We played in many tournaments all over the North of England.
