BLACKBURN Rovers' all-conquering Under 19 Academy side face the biggest match of their lives at Ewood Park tonight.
Rob Kelly's squad entertain southern play-off winners Aston Villa in the first leg of the FA Premier Academy League Play-Off Final.
Rovers romped away with their group in the league and qualified for the final with a fine away win over a strong Manchester City side in the semi-finals.
Aston Villa overcame West Ham United 2-0 in the southern play-off semi-final and will present the toughest of challenges.
Villa, coached by Tony McAndrew and former Rovers midfielder Gordon Cowans, won the FA Youth Cup in 2002 and have a side packed with youth internationals.
Stefan Moore and Pete Whittingham have both tasted first team experience at Villa Park and Rovers' Academy Director, Bobby Downes, is anticipating a tough contest.
"Aston Villa are a very good side because they won the FA Youth Cup last season and that has now become their under 19 team," said Downes.
"But we've got nothing to lose and everything to gain, so we'll give it a real go and whatever happens it's still been a good season."
Team boss, Rob Kelly, added: "The season has gone very well and I am genuinely delighted for they are a terrific group of lads. They have worked very hard and deserve the rewards."
Kelly will make a late check on star striker Paul Gallagher before naming his starting 11.
Kick-off at Ewood Park is 7 pm and admission is FREE.
