LOCAL produce and crafts will be among the attractions when Ramsbottom turns itself over to the countryside for the first in a series of Farmer's Markets this weekend.
The Market Place will become the focal point for the activities between 11am and 4pm on Sunday, May 11.
The event is set to become a regular feature in the town's calendar on every second Sunday in the month until October.
Town centre co-ordinator Tricia Willott, said everyone was welcome to join in the fun.
"This is the first in what we hope will become a highly popular local event. There will be a vast array of local produce available, from the usual breads, jams, meat, fruit and vegetables, to the unusual -- including British ostrich meat, creative seafoods and Forever Bury Beer."
Visitors will be joined by mascot Robbie the Bobby -- from Bury Football Club.
