A MAN indecently exposed himself to two schoolgirls as they took a short-cut home in Leyland yesterday.
The girls were walking through an alley from West Paddock, leading to Fox Lane, at about 3.55pm, when they saw the man, who unbuttoned his jeans and exposed himself.
As they ran off he hid behind a tree.
The man was in his thirties, wearing a round necked long-sleeve sky blue jumper, with a blue short-sleeve t-shirt over the top. He wore light blue jeans and white trainers.
He had light red hair and was clean shaven.
DC Paddy Lavelle of Leyland CID said: "At that time of day it would have been busy, because it's school finishing time. Although it has got trees on either side it's a well used path.
"But it's an isolated incident. There was no attempt to speak to the girls or approach them."
Anybody with information should call Leyland CID on 01772 209844.
