A 23-YEAR-OLD man arrested in a town centre disturbance had been threatening a pusher who dealt drugs to children, a court heard.
Burnley Magistrates heard Gareth Fishwick, 24, told police he did not care if they locked him up, refused to calm down and said he would give the man a kicking.
Fishwick, of Branch Road, Burnley, admitted threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He was fined £100, with £55 costs by the bench who warned him to stay out of trouble in the future.
Andy Robinson, prosecuting, told the court police were called to St James Street, Burnley on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon.
The defendant had taken exception to a man, was threatening him and the victim had sought refuge.
Fishwick was arrested.
John Rusius, defending, said Fishwick had enjoyed the Bank Holiday too much and had too much to drink.
Somebody had pointed out the man to him as a having supplied drugs to children. The defendant did not agree with that and wanted to do something about it.
