A BLACKPOOL firm's chief executive has left -- and three other directors are to follow.
But the owners of Burton Foods Ltd, which employs 800 people at its head office and factories locally, say the company still has a strong future and no further changes are planned.
Chief Executive, Adrian Sharpe, has left the company with immediate effect, and a replacement is being sought.
Sales director, Ian Gibson, confectionary, snacks and contract manufacture director, Ron Southern and finance director, Steve Yarwood, are also to leave the business. Owners Muse, Tate and Furst Ltd have brought in directors of the company's sister firm, Premier Foods Ltd, to oversee the company in the meantime.
A spokesman said: "Burton's Foods Ltd remains a profitable company with great potential and Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst Ltd are confident the changes announced will further strengthen the business."
