LITTLE heart patient Rebecca Rogers always wanted to be a princess in her own palace.
Her mum Catherine approached the Make A Wish charity and it has made her dream come true after hearing of the brave five-year-old's vision.
While Rebecca was at school a garden makeover team moved into her home and transformed the untidy plot into a fairy paradise.
They installed a double play house with a balcony and bunk beds, swings, a sand pit, pool, slides, windmills, chimes, games and painted murals on the fencing.
Leigh girl Catherine, who recently moved to Platt Bridge, said: "The charity suggested the garden transformation and did the work in a day while she was at Low Hall Infants' School.
"When we picked her up and brought her home she was thrilled to bits. She doesn't want to come out of her own house which has a sign "Rebecca's Palace" on it.
"She takes her breakfast in there and has loads of princess dressing up gear."
Rebecca, who has a three-years-old brother, Ben, was born with a serious heart defect, including transposition of the main arteries, and has undergone five operations including three open heart surgeries.
Catherine said: "She had another wish to see Gareth Gates who she was due to watch last October, but the trip had to be cancelled because she was in hospital.
"I'd like to thank the charity for granting the wish, Rebecca really deserves it."
