KAREN Dyer repeatedly took a friend's Switch card, used it to make purchases, and then replaced it in her bag, a court was told.
Blackburn magistrates heard that the offences only came to light when the friend received statements from her bank detailing the transactions.
Dyer, 33, of Fleetwood Close, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to obtaining property by deception, attempting to obtain property by deception and theft and asked for five offences to be taken into consideration.
She was made subject to a community rehabilitation order for 12 months.
