A TEENAGE girl was over the limit when she drove in a car park at a seaside resort.
Debbie Standring, an 18-year-old receptionist, of Petrie Crescent, Rishton, admitted driving with excess alcohol to Blackpool magistrates.
Prosecutor Wendy Evans told the court that on April 7 the defendant was seen driving a Ford Fiesta on Cookson Street car park, Blackpool.
A breath test showed 59 micrograms of alcohol in her body -- the limit is 35.
Chris Capaldi, defending, asked for an adjournment for a hearing to show special reasons, including the shortness of the distance driven, why Standring should not be banned from driving.
She was bailed until May 20 to fix a date for a special reasons hearing.
