THE war on Iraq appears to be almost over but it is still not clear why the war was waged. We were told that it is about finding weapons of mass destruction but nothing has been found so far.
The only thing we see so far is change of regime and securing of Iraqi oil fields and protection of the Ministry of Oil. What about the right of Iraqi people? Is it not important any more? What about the suffering of the people of Iraq, when will it end?
We would like it if our MP and British Foreign Secretary could tell us more about it. We would also like to know if the British government has any influence on American foreign policy.
