TEA drinkers are invited to break out the best china and brew up to help out their local hospice next month.
East Lancashire Hospice in Blackburn and Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle in Nelson are taking part in Tea @ Three, to help fund their annual running costs.
It takes place on June 20 and is part of the National Hospice Awareness Month. All over the country on that day people at home, in schools, at work will all get together and have tea at 3pm and make a donation to their local hospice.
Head fund-raiser at East Lancashire Hospice Stuart Andrew said: "We invite people to help us by organising tea at three. You may also wish to bake cakes or have stalls to help raise more money."
Thousands of people across the country are expected to take part in the event including Coronation Street actress Julie Hesmondalgh, who originally comes from Church.
